The Pew Center’s “Tapping Civic Life: How to Report First, and Best, What’s Happening in Your Community,” has received a
1997 Clarion Award from Women in Communications. The award recognized the publication’s content and design in the Special Print Communications, 3-4 colors. Also cited were The Harwood Group, which did the research at The Wichita Eagle that helped create the model for tapping different civic layers of a community, and WLK Graphic Design, which designed the publication.
